This tutorial was written by me on April 22nd, 2013 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the totally hot work of Arthur Crowe. You can purchase his work here.

 

Inked Girlz PTU kit by Kandii Popz Dezignz.  You can purchase this kit here.

 

Template 7 by Chrissy's Chaos. You can find it here.

 

Mask21 by WitchysHeart. You can find it here.

 

Font of choice. I am using Ventography.

 

No outside filters.

Open your mask & template. Minimize your mask.

 

On your template, resize all layers by 80%. Delete the credits layer.

 

Open P1. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your template. Apply your mask, merge group. Move this layer to the bottom.

 

On the Rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open P7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the Black circle 1 & Black circle 2 layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open P13. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the sm square 1 & sm square 2 layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open P6. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the white circle 1 & white circle 2 layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open P11. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the small square 3 & small square 4 layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open P3. Rotate 90 degrees to the right. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the sm circle 1 & sm circle 2 layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open P12. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Open the GLITTER. Resize by 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

 

On the white rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open P1 again. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On the center circle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open P15. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Arrange over the center circle. When satisfied with the placement, on the center circle layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

 

Duplicate your tube layer. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 44. On the original layer, set the opacity to 20.

 

Open FRAME2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Arrange over the center circle.

 

Open RIBBON1. Resize by 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom.

 

Open the CUPPYCHERRIES. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper right corner.

 

Open the BIRD. Resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the stem of the cuppycherries.

 

Open the CROSS. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left side of the frame.

 

Open CUPPY2. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower left.

 

Open SPARKLES1. Copy and paste as a new layer, flip vertical. Place to the top of your tag.

 

Open your tube again, resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to your liking.

 

Open the LIPPY. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom.

 

Open the SKULL. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right.

 

Open the CHOKER. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom, slightly to the right.

 

Open SPARKLES1 again. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom.

 

Open SPARKLES2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom.

 

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice. Merge visible and save as a PNG.

Filters - Penta.com Color Dot

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask for now.

Resize your template by 91%. Set the canvas size to 600 x 500. Delete the copyright & background layers.

Open PAP10. Rotate 90 degrees to the right. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your template. Move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Open the WIREFENCE. Resize by 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the mask layer.

Merge together the rectangle1 & rectangle2 layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open PAP. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the shape1 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open PAP15. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the shape2 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open PAP13. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together the two gradient frame back layers. Select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #e9335c. Deselect for now and delete the original layer.

Penta.com Color dot. Set the value to 100, the distance to 10.

Open your tube, resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer and place over the right penta square. Duplicate, mirror, and place over the left one. When satisfied, merge these two layers together.

On the penta layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tubes layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. 

Duplicate your tubes layer. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 75. On the original tubes layer, set the blend mode to Luminance(L), opacity 32.

On the rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open PAP5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together the circle layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open PAP15 again. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Move the thin rectangle layer so it is below the wordart back layer. Select all, float, defloat. Open PAP12. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together the frame back2 layers. Manual color correction. Set the source to #000000 and the target to #e9335c.

Penta.com Color Dot using the same settings as before.

Add the tubes as you did with the previous frame back layers.

Open STRING1. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to your liking.

Open the BUTTERFLYSKULL. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly to the left of the right top frame. Rotate slightly to the right. Duplicate, mirror. Place to the bottom left of the top left frame.

Open your tube and resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Erase any part of the tube that hangs below the thin rectangle layer. Duplicate your tube. Set the blend mode to Overlay, opacity 75.

Open the LIPPY. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the thin rectangle layer. Place to the bottom right.

Open the CANDYSTICK. Rotate 90 degrees to the right. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left of center. Duplicate, and place to the right, so it sits below the one on the left. See my tag for reference.

Open the CUPPY. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the left end of the candystick on the lower left.

On the wordart layer, manual color correction. Set the source to #ff439f, target to #e35671. Merge this layer and the wordart back layer together.

Open the BRACELET. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right.

Open SPARKLES1. Resize by 93%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Rotate slightly to the right.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice. Merge visible and save as a PNG.
