This tutorial was written by me on March 25th, and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

 

Tube of choice. I am using the amazing work of VeryMany. You can purchase this tube here.

 

FTU kit Sweet Moments by Inzpired Creationz. You can find the kit here.

 

Template 187 by Toxic Desirez. You can find it here.

 

Font of choice. I am using Jellyka Delicious Cake.

Open your template. Set the canvas size to 850 x 737. Resize all layers by 71%. Delete the Credits layer.

 

Open Doodle 1. Resize by 70%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Duplicate, flip horizontal, flip vertical and place to the upper left corner. On the original, place to the lower right corner. Merge these two layers together, move this layer to the bottom.

 

Merge together the Copy of Raster 8 layer & the Raster 8 layer. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 3. Resize by 62%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the Copy of Raster 6 layer & the Raster 6 layer. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the Copy of Raster 7 layer & the Raster 7 layer. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Merge together the Copy of Raster 5 layer & the Raster 5 layer. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On the Copy of Raster 1 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On the circle paper layer, select all, float, defloat. Selections, modify, select selection borders, both sides & anti-alias checked, width 3. Add a new raster layer. Using two colors of your choice, set the foreground to gradient, angle 45, repeats 3. Floodfill the selection with your gradient. Add noise, uniform, 50, monochrome checked.

 

Open Doodle 2. Resize by 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of your template.

 

Open Bow 2. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place along the top of your template.

 

Open Tree 2. Resize by 95%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place along the left side of your frame.

 

Open the Scattered Petals. Resize by 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place along the right side.

 

Open Flower 3. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left of the tree. Duplicate this layer.

 

Open the Notepad. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer just above the original flower. Rotate slightly to the left and place to the bottom of the flower.

 

Open the Lantern. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the far right side of the template.

 

On the duplicate flower layer, flip horizontal and place slightly to the left of the lantern.

 

Open the Hummingbird. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top of the lantern.

 

Open your tube and resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to your liking.

 

Open the Basket. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right.

 

Open Cupcake 1. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly to the right of the notepad.

 

Open Sparkles 1. Resize by 89%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

 

Add your name, copyright, & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice, merge visible. Save as a PNG.
