This tutorial was written by me on May 20th, 2013 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the work of PTU artist, Eugene Rzhevskii. You can purchase his work here.

 

PTU Kissed By Spring kit by Wicked Princess Scraps .

 

Mask 45 by Moonbeams and Spiderwebs. You can find it here.

 

Font of choice. I am using Janda Stylish Script.

Open FRAME5. Resize by 80%. Set the canvas size to 600 x 600.

 

Open PP1 and your mask. Copy and paste your paper as a new layer. Move below the frame layer. Apply your mask, merge group.

 

On your frame layer, use your magic wand and select inside the frame. Selections, modify, and expand by 5. Open PP9. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and move this layer below your frame layer.

 

Open the SUN. Resize by 70%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the frame back layer. Move to the upper left corner of the frame. Duplicate, and place to the lower right of the frame. Merge the sun layers together. On the frame back layer, select all, float, defloat. On the sun layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect.

 

Open FLOWERSWIRL1. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the frame layer. Flip horizontal, flip vertical. Place to the top of the frame.

 

Duplicate the flower swirl, flip horizontal, flip vertical and place to the bottom of the frame.

 

Open the BLUETREE. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer below the duplicate flower swirl. Place to the right side of the frame.

 

Open the CAGE. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left side of the frame.

 

Open your tube and resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer and place in the center of the frame.

 

With your magic wand tool, on the frame layer select the inside of the frame. Selections, invert. On your tube layer, use the eraser tool and erase the inside bottom of the tube layer that hangs below the frame layer. Deselect.

 

Open the GRASSHILL1. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Duplicate, flip horizontal, merge down. Move to the bottom of the frame.

 

Open the FLOWERBRANCH. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Rotate slightly to the right and place to the bottom.

 

Open the BEADSPRAY. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the duplicate flower swirl. Place to the bottom.

 

Open JAR1. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left, along the inside of the frame. See my tag for reference.

 

Open FLOWER9. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left, on the left side of the jar.

 

Open the YARN. Resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower right.

 

Open BIRD2. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top of the cage.

 

Open the BUTTERFLY. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper right, on top of the tree.

 

Open the CUP. Resize by 30%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of the jar.

 

Add your name. I used a purple color from the kit. Add noise, random, 15, monochrome checked.

Add your copyright & license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice and merge visible. Save as a PNG.
