This tutorial was written by me on May 19th, 2013 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP X5, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the tube which was the basis for the kit, Yummy by Ismael Rac. You can purchase it here.

Font of choice. I am using KG Two is Better Than One

Open your template and mask. Minimize your mask for now.

On your template, set the canvas size to 800 x 568. Resize all layers by 75%.

Delete all the shadow layers and the credits layer.

Open Paper 11. Copy and paste as a new layer above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group. You can delete the white background layer now if you wish.

On Raster 2, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 4. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On Raster 5, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

In the layer palette, move the Copy of Raster 6 so that it is directly above Raster 6. Now merge these two layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 3. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On Raster 4, manual color correction. Set the source to #e93c7e and the target to #f00296. Select all, float, defloat.

Open your texture. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. Set the blend mode to Luminance (L). 

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the far right square. Duplicate, flip horizontal and place over the far left square. Merge the tube layers together. On the texture layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. 

Duplicate the merged tube layer. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, Opacity 75. On the original merged tube layer, set the blend mode to Luminance (L), Opacity 60.

On Raster 3, manual color correction. Set the source to #bcd09f, target set to #3ab5c7. Open your texture again and repeat the same process as we used for the small squares on the far left & right.

Open the Wordart. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left side. Select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer. Selections, modify, expand by 2. Floodfill the new layer with white. You may have to repeat several times so that it fully fills the layer. Move this layer below the wordart layer. Merge the wordart layer down with the white outline layer.

Open Sweet2. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer above Raster 9. Place to the top right corner of the center frame, between the center frame and the right frame. Duplicate, and place to the top left corner of the center frame, between the left frame and center frame. See my tag for reference.

Open your tube again, resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer and place over the center square.

On Raster 7, manual color correction. Set the source to #ff8b66 and the target to #1b5f68.

Open Ribbon2. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer above Raster 12. Place to the bottom.

Open the Cherrycakes. Resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper right of the blue circle.

Open Bow1. Resize by 50%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the cherries.

Open the Heartpop. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left side.

Open the Drink. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom, to the left side of the right frame.

Open the Sundae. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left.

Open Icelolly2. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right.

Open Cuppy2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the icelolly.

Open Choco1. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of the sundae.

Open Gummy1. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the drink, slightly to the left.

Open the Sweet. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the drink.

Open the Yummyheart. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the sundae.

Open the Flyingkiss. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place between the gummy1 and the choco1.

Add your name and place to your liking.

Open Sparkles1. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open Sparkles2. Flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right.

Add a drop shadow of choice. Add your copyright and license info. Merge visible and save as a PNG.
