This tutorial was written by me on June 14, 2013 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

 

PSP Version used: PSP X5, but should work in other versions.

 

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

 

Supplies:

 

Tube of choice. I am using the work of Amy Matthews. You can purchase her work here.

 

A Little Bit Vintage PTU kit by Wicked Princess Scraps. You can find purchase information here.

 

Tag Template 126 by Rosey. You can find it here.

 

WSL_Mask161 by Weescotslass Creations. You can find it here.

 

Texture 4 by ibjennyjenny. You can find it here.

 

Font of choice. I am using Jennifer Lynne.

 

Filters: Filters Unlimited 2.0

Open your template. Delete Rasters 12, 2, 4, and 7. Move Raster 9 to the top layer. Erase the bottom left corner of Raster 8 that hangs below Raster 9.

 

Set the canvas size of the template to 800 x 800. Now using the crop tool, crop to the dimensions of 800 x 632, making sure the crop area is centered over your template. Resize all layers by 75%.

 

Open PP8 and your mask. Copy and paste PP8 as a new layer above the background layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Delete the background layer.

 

On Raster 6, select all, float, defloat. Open PP6. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On the Copy of Raster 6, select all, float, defloat. Open PP9. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On Raster 5, select all, float, defloat. Open PP10. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On the Copy of Raster 5, select all, float, defloat. Open PP4. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

On Raster 3, select all, float, defloat. Open PP2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Open FAN2. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top right of the Raster 3 layer. Duplicate the fan 3 times. Arrange the fan so it is something similar to the image below:

 

 

 

Merge the fans together and center over the Raster 3 layer. See my tag for reference.

 

Open the DIAMONDSPRINKLE. Resize by 71%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

 

On the Raster 11 layer, manual color correction. Set the source to #aeaeae and the target to #d4643c.

 

Open your texture. Resize by 40%. Shift + L and set the hue & saturation to 0, 0.

 

Filters Unlimited 2.0, Sandflower Specials, Pool Shadow Framed. Change the intensity to 100, and the lightness to 160.

 

On the Raster 11 layer, select all, float, defloat. Copy and paste the texture as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Set the blend mode to Screen.

 

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to your liking over the texture. Selections, invert and press delete.

 

Duplicate the tube layer. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. Press delete to erase any extra overhang and deselect. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to Hard light, opacity 26.

 

On Raster 8, manual color correction. Set the source to #5c5c5c and the target to #e6dab2. Repeat the steps for the texture and tube layers that we did on the previous layer.

 

Open the DOOR. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly to the right of center. See my tag for reference.

 

On the Raster 9 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open PP7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

 

Open the PEARLS. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the top of the Raster 9 layer, slightly to the right.

 

Open the CHELLO. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left side.

 

Open BOOKS1. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right side.

 

Open your tube and resize as necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the door.

 

Duplicate, gaussian blur using the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 65.

 

Open the CARDS. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the chello. Rotate slightly to the left.

 

Open the BUTTERFLYJAR. Resize by 40%, flip horizontal. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right of the cards.

 

Open the FLOWERSWAG. Resize by 55%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom.

 

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Apply a drop shadow of choice and merge visible. Save as a PNG.
