Never B Me

This tutorial was written by me on September 28th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the work of Arthur Crowe. This tube is yet to be released so keep an eye out for this beauty in his store

PTU Best of Rock kit by Scrap Rebellion. This kit can only be purchased in Arthur Crowe's store. This kit will be released with this tube in the near future.

Template 15 by Millie's PSP Madness. You can find it here

Gemsmask 141 by Gems Taggin Scraps.  You can find it here

Font of choice. I am using Angryblue Controlled.

Filters: Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow

Open your template and mask, minimize your mask. On your template, set the canvas size width to 750 and lock aspect ratio checked. Resize all layers by 80%.

Delete the credits layer.

Select the background layer. Open paper 4. Copy and paste as a new layer. Apply your mask, merge group. Delete the background layer.

Select your raster deform tool. Pull the edges of the mask to the edges of your canvas.

On layer 1, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 10. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On layer 2, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On layer 3, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 6. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together layers 4 and 5. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On layer 6, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 8. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On layer 7, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to your liking. On the paper 1 layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press delete. Deselect. Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 60. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to luminance (L), opacity 60.

In the materials palette, set the foreground to #c96937 and your background set to #1e2225. Click on your foreground and click on the gradient tab. Select the foreground-background gradient, angle 45, repeats 3, style linear.

On layer 8, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your gradient. Deselect and delete the original layer. On the gradient frame layer, add noise, gaussian, 100.

Open element 20. Resize by 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open element 14. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left side of your tag. Rotate slightly to the left. See my tag for reference.

Open element 6 and mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the top left of your frame.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer, resize if necessary. Use your eraser tool to delete any part of the tube that hangs below your template layers.

On layers 10 and 11, manual color correction. Set the source to #6046b0 and your target to #df8a4a. Merge all your wordart layers together.

Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow. On the Basic tab, change the glow width to 3.00. Under the color tab, use these settings:


Open element 12. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper right corner of your frame.

Open element 10. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower left corner.

Open element 18. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower right corner.

Open element 13. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of the spray can. Rotate slightly to the left.

Add your name, copyright, and license info.

Apply a drop shadow of choice and merge visible. Save as a PNG.
