Be Original

This tutorial was written by me on August 5th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using an exclusive Keith Garvey tube, which is available at PicsForDesign.com. You must purchase his work and obtain the proper licensing. You can find this tube here.

PTU kit Heavy Metal Lover by Purple's Kreationz. http://purples-tutorials.blogspot.com You can purchase this kit @ Scrap-A-Licious.

Tag Template 392 by Divine Intentionz. You can download it from her blog here.

BigMask018 by Vix PSP. You can download from her blog here.

Font of choice. I am using Simply Glamorous, a free font.

Ok lets get started.

Open your template and mask. Minimize your mask for now.

On your template, set the canvas size to 653 x 653. Resize by 100%, Resolution 300. Enter the resolution first or else the dimensions will change on you. Resize again, all layers, 92%.

Delete the following layers: copyright layer, rect drop shadow, drop shadow, both thin rect layers, and your background layer.

On the wordart layer, hue and saturation, colorize to 0, 0. Duplicate your wordart and merge with the original wordart layer.

Next, merge the two dotted line layers together. Brightness and Contrast, Brightness/Contrast, -255, 100. Move this layer below layers shape1 & shape2.
