Sweet Memory

This tutorial was written by me on February 15th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using a tube by PTU artist Ismael Rac. You must obtain a license & purchase his art at his store here

Kit is FTU kit Sweet Dreams by Purple's Kreationz. You can download it from her blog

Mask 382 by Vix. You can download it here

Font of choice.

Ok lets get started!

Open your mask and minimize.

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 600.

Open paper PK-SD-P1. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas.

Apply your mask; merge group.

With your raster deform tool, drag the sides to the edge of the canvas.

Open frame PK-SD-F1. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

With your magic wand tool, select the inside of the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 3.

Open paper PK-SD-P11. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Move this layer under your frame.

Open your tube. Resize if necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer and place where suits you.

Selections, float, defloat. On your frame layer, use your eraser tool to erase any part of the frame that is covering the top of your tube and the right elbow. Deselect.

Now on the plaid paper layer, selections, float, defloat, invert. Back to the tube layer. Use your eraser tool to delete any part of her lower half that goes beyond the bottom of the paper layer. Deselect.

Open element PK-SD-CLOUD1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place at the bottom of the frame. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-SD-BEADSPILL3. Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the bottom left of your tag. Duplicate, mirror and move to the top right of your tag. Merge these two layers together and move just above your mask layer.

Open element PK-SD-BENCH2. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and move to the bottom left of your tag.

Open element PK-SD-BONNET4. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and move so it is sitting on top of the bench.

Open element PK-SD-RIBBON4. Resize by 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer towards the bottom of the bench. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-SD-BEAR1. Colorize using hue 210, saturation 146. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to the bottom right of your tag.

Add a slight drop shadow to the layers of your choice.

Add your name and copyright info and license number.

Save as a .png or .jpg.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial!
