Rockin' Out

This tutorial was written by me on August 3rd, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using a soon-to-be-released tube from Arthur Crowe. Keep a look out for this tube in his store

FTU kit Rockin' Out by A [Space] Between. You can download it from her blog

Mask1 by Rosey of the Creative Misfits. You can download it from their blog

Font of choice. I am using Real Toyz Regular, a free font.

Ok let's get started.

Open element42. Set the canvas size to 729 x 729. Resize all layers by 82%.

With your magic wand, click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. Open paper17. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Move this layer below your frame layer.

Open paper1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer to the bottom. Open and apply your mask, merge group.

Open element20. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer below your masked layer. Move towards the top of your canvas. See my tag for reference.

Open element27. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer above your masked layer. Move to the upper right corner of you tag. Duplicate and move to the bottom left corner. Merge these two layers together. Add noise, gaussian, 100, monochrome checked.

Open element29. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. With your raster deform tool, turn to the left so the tag is almost straight. Move to the upper right corner of your frame.

Open element11. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer above your frame. Move to the left side of your frame.

Open element28. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the rigt side of your canvas.

Open element17. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower right corner of your tag.

Open element13. Resize by 30%, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place below the black paper tag.

Open element35. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the guitar, just below the top. See my tag for reference.

Open your tube. Resize if necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move towards the bottom of the tag.

Duplicate your tube. Gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original tube layer, hue and saturation, colorize, 0,0.

Add a drop shadow to your layers, if desired.
