This tutorial was written by me on August 16th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using an older tube by Ismael Rac. You must purchase his tubes and obtain the proper licensing. You can find his tubes here.

PTU kit Emo Candy by Purple's Kreationz.  You can purchase this kit @ Scrap-A-Licious.

Template 183 by Toxic Desirez. You can find it here.

Font of choice. I am using Rebecca.

Filters: Penta.com Dot and Cross

Open your template. Resize all layers by 80%. Delete the Credits layer.

Merge together the black bottom and black top rectangle layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press the delete key on your keyboard. Delete the original layer.

Merge together the white bottom and white top rectangle layer. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 18. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together the grey bottom and grey top rectangle layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 9. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together the grey bottom and grey top square layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 10. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge together the dark grey bottom and dark grey top rectangle layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper 19. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On your circle layer, select all, float, defloat. Modify, Set Selection Borders, both sides checked, border width 3, anti-alias unchecked. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #933195. Add noise, gaussian, 100, monochrome checked.

On your circle layer, Penta.com Dot and Cross using the default settings.

Open your tube or a closeup. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly down on the right side of the circle. Duplicate, mirror and place inside the circle on the left side, slightly towards the top. Merge these two layers together when satisfied. See my tag for reference.

On the frame layer, select inside your frame using your magic wand tool. Selections, modify, expand by 3. On the tubes layer, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

Duplicate your tubes. Gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 46. On the original tubes layer set the blend mode to luminance (L), opacity 46.

With your magic wand tool again, select inside the frame. Selections, modify with the same settings as before.

Open element drips2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and move this layer below your frame layer.

Open the tree. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left side of your tag. Move this layer above the frame layer. Duplicate, mirror and place to the right side of your tag.

Open string1, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of your tag.

Open the ribbon, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the string element.

Open your full size tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize if necessary. Duplicate, gaussian blur with the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to overlay.

Open the bundleofcandy element. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left corner of your tag.

Open the cherries. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the upper right corner of your tag. With your raster deform tool, turn slightly to the right.

Open the star. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of your tag. Turn slightly to the left with your raster deform tool.

Open the icelolly. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly to the right of the star. Turn slightly to the right with your raster deform tool.

Open the sparkles. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open sparkles 2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom of your tag.

Add your name & a drop shadow of your choice.

Add your copyrights & license info. Merge visible and save as a PNG.
