This tutorial was written by me on June 22nd, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful work of Barbara Jensen. This tube is an exclusive tube to The Creative Chicks forum. You must be a member and have the correct license number to be able to use this tube. If you'd like to join us, you may do so here.

Font of choice. I am using Prophecy Script, a ftu font.

Ok lets get started.

Open your template & mask. Resize your template by 73%, all layers checked. Set your canvas size to 600 x 500.

Open up your mask and resize by 124%. We will resize this at the end.

Open paper PK-TWM-P4. Copy and paste onto your template as a new layer. Move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Toadies Ommadawn using the default settings.

Delete the credits layer on the template.

Merge your left & right dotted square layers together.

Merge the left & right rectangle 1 layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-TWM-P7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect & delete the original layer.

Merge the left & right rectangle 2 layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-TWM-P19. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original.

Merge the left & right rectangle 3 layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-TWM-P5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the round rectangle layer, Penta.com Color Dot. Change the value to 155, and the distance to 10.

On the Words layer, colorize to 0, 0 so it is greyscaled. Then Adjust, color balance, manual color correction. Set the source color to #6b6b6b and the target color to #f169ad. Merge the words layer and the words back layer together.

Onto the Circle layer. First set your foreground color to white, and your background color to #f169ad. Create a gradient with these 2 colors, angle 0, repeats 0, linear. Make sure the invert box is selected.

On the circle layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your gradient. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your gradient circle layer. Move to the right side of the circle. Duplicate and mirror. Merge these 2 layers together. On the circle layer, select all, float, defloat. Selections, invert. On your tubes layer, press delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

Duplicate your tubes layer. Colorize to 0, 0 as before. Adjust, blur, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 26. On the original tubes layer, set the opacity to 26 as well.

On the left back layer, select all, float, defloat. Change your background color to #5993d2. Create a gradient with the new colors, angle 45, repeats 1, linear. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with the new gradient. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Copy and paste your tube again, mirror. Move so her face is over top the left back. On the left back gradient layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

Duplicate your tube. Adjust, blur, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to luminance (L). Repeat for the right hand side star.

Open element PK-TWM-BARBEDWIRE. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the top of your tag. Now move this layer just above your pink paper layer. I placed mine towards the upper edge of the top right pink paper layer. Erase any overhang on the left side of the canvas. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-TWM-FLAME. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer above the rounded rectangle layer and to the left side. Duplicate and mirror. See my tag for reference.

Open your tube again. Copy and paste as a new layer above your right frame layer. Resize as necessary. Duplicate, gaussian blur with the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to overlay. On the original tube layer, colorize to 0,0.

Open element PK-TWM-STARS. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of your tag. Duplicate, mirror and move to the upper left corner of your tag. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-TWM-RIBBON1, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom of the canvas.

Move the original stars layer above the ribbon.

Open element PK-TWM-CUPPY. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer to the bottom left side of your canvas.

Open element PK-TWM-LILY. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the upper right hand corner of your tag. See mine for reference.

Open element PK-TWM-MINIPOD. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the lower right hand corner.

Open element PK-TWM-SKULL. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right of your cuppy. See my tag for placement.

Open element PK-TWM-SPARKLES. Resize by 95%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move slightly down.

Add your name, copyright info, & license info.

Add a drop shadow of choice to any layers of your choosing.

For your mask, with your raster deform tool, resize the mask by moving the edges of the mask to the edges of your canvas.

Merge visible and save as a PNG.
