This tutorial was written by me on June 30th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using a tube by PTU artist, Ismael Rac. You must purchase his work and obtain the proper licensing to use his work. You may do so here.

PTU kit Emo'd by Purple's Kreationz. You can find the kit here.

Template 412 by Divine Intentionz here.

Gemsmask16 by Gems Taggin Scraps here.

Font of choice.

Ok lets get started.

Open your mask and template. Delete the credits layer. Set the canvas size of your template to 800 x 500. Resize all layers by 75%.

Open paper PK-E-P10. Copy and paste as a new layer above your background layer (Raster 1). Apply your mask, merge group.

Merge Copy of Raster 2 & Raster 2 together. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-E-P3. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Move the rec shape left layer below the small squares layer. Then merge the rec shape left & rec shape right layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-3-P8. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the small squares layer, Adjust, Color Balance, Manual Color Correction. Set the source color to #fdaddc and the target color to #fb51a7. Click ok. Add noise, Uniform, 50, Monochrome checked.

On the rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-E-P15. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge the square right and square left layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open paper PK-E-P1. Copy and paste as a new layer.  Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the layer we just added, Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone using the following settings:

Cell Properties, Line, 3
Screen angles, 127
Use as overlay checked
Blend mode normal, 26
Color Scheme Greyscale, Ink White
Transparent checked

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer and move over the right square. Duplicate, mirror and move to slightly down so it is in the left square. Merge the tube layers together.

Select the halftone layer, select all, float, defloat. Back to the tubes layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

Duplicate you tubes layer. Adjust, blur, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen, opacity 66. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to luminance, opacity 66.

Merge togehter the frame right and frame left layers.

Open element PK-E-RIBBON2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the right side of your canvas. Duplicate and mirror. Merge down.

Make a custom gradient of the following colors: #7ccf19, #fb51a7, and #3197fb.

On the rec back layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your custom gradient. Duplicate this layer.

Vanderlee Halftone using the following settings:



Set the opacity to 50.

Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize slightly. On the gradient layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, selections, invert and press the delete button on your keyboard.

Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur with the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to Hard light.

Open element PK-E-BOTTLE. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer above your rec frame layer. Move to the lower right side of your canvas.

Open element PK-E-BOTTLECAP. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. With your raster deform tool, turn slightly to the right. Move to the bottom right of your rec frame.

Open element PK-E-CUPPY. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom left of your tag.

Open element PK-E-HEADPHONES. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the upper left of your tag. With your raster deform tool, rotate slightly to the left.

Open element PK-E-ZIPPEDPOCETSKULL. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the lower right side, slightly to the left of your bottle. Rotate slightly to the right.

Open element PK-E-KITTY. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move slightly to the right of your cuppy.

Open element PK-E-BOW1. Resize by 60% and mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the upper right corner of your tag. See my tag for reference.

Add a drop shadow of choice to the layers of your choice.

Add your name, copyrights, license info, and your watermark.

Merge visible and save as a PNG.
