It's A Girl Thing

This tutorial was written by me on June 3rd, 2012 and is my own creation.

Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the sexy art of Ismael Rac, a PTU artist. You must purchase his work and obtain the proper licensing to use his work. You may do so here

PTU scrap kit F%"K U by Purple's Kreationz. You can find it here.

Mask is WSL_Mask220 by Weescotslass Creations. You can find this mask and many more here

Font of choice. I am using a free font called Pass the Chex.

Ok lets get started.

Open a blank transparent image, 600 x 600.

Open paper PK-FU-P9. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your blank canvas.

Open your mask, apply your mask to the paper you just added. Merge group.

Open frame PK-FU-F1. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open paper PK-FU-P6 and copy.

On your working canvas, use your magic wand and click inside your frame. Paste your paper as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and move this layer below your frame layer.

Open a closeup of your tube (this tube comes with a closeup tube). I mirrored the closeup for my tag. Copy and paste as a new layer onto your white paper.

On your white paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On your closeup tube layer, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

On the closeup tube layer, duplicate. On the duplicate layer, adjust, blur, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to Screen and the opacity set to 48.

On the original closeup, Effects, Artistic Effects, Halftone using the following settings:

Round, 8
Angle 48
Use as overlay checked.
Blend mode Overlay, 47
Greyscale selected, color black
Transparent checked.

Set the opacity of the original closeup to 48.

Open element PK-FU-FLAME. Copy and paste as a new layer above both closeup layers. Move to the lower left side of the inside of your frame. Duplicate, mirror. See my tag for reference. Merge these two layers together.

Open element PK-FU-RIBBON1. Copy and paste as a new layer above your frame layer. Move to the bottom of your frame. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-FU-CUPPY. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom left of your tag.

Open element PK-FU-MASCARA. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move so it is on the right side of your cuppy. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-FU-NAILPOLISH. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to the left of your cuppy. See my tag for reference.

Open element PK-FU-SHOES. Resize by 60%. Move to the bottom left of your tag. See mine for reference.

Open element PK-FU-BOW2. Resize by 60%. Rotate to the left, 25%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the upper left corner of your frame.

Open element PK-FU-FLOWER1. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over top of the bow.

Open your full-size tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize if necessary. Move to the right size of your frame.

Add your name.

Add a drop shadow of choice to all the layers except the layers below your frames.

Add your copyright, license info, and your watermark.

Merge visible and save as a PNG or JPG.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
