This tutorial was written by me on August 17th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the work of Zlata M. You can find this tube exclusively at The PSP Project. You must purchase her work and obtain the proper licensing. You can do so here. 

PTU kit Smexy EMOstyle by Alika's Scraps. You can purchase the kit @ Scrap-A-Licious. 

TagTemplate 410 by Divine Intentionz. You can find it on her blog here. 

BigMask019 by VixPSP. You can find it on her blog here. 

Font of choice. I am using Inspiration.

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask.

On the template, set the canvas size to 800 x 516. Resize all layers by 75%. Now set the canvas size to 600 x 500.

Delete the following layers: credits, stars, and background layers.

Open paper 5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Open as72. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the top right. Duplicate and mirror, merge down. Now duplicate again and move this layer to the bottom of your canvas so that the bottom peeks out. Now Merge this layer down.

Open as23. Resize by 87%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right and to your liking. Duplicate, mirror, and flip. Merge down.

Merge the rectangle2 and rectangle1 layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Open as_paper02. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Merge the round edge rec 2 and rounded edge rec layers. Select all, float, defloat. Open as_paper12. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open as56. Resize by 50%, sharpen. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the round edge rec layer in the upper left corner of your tag. Duplicate and place to the right of the original. See my tag for reference.

On your thin rectangle layer, manual color correction. Set the source color to #fdaddc and the target color to #000000.

On the frame back layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer. In the materials palette, set the foreground to #8ad8ec and the background set to #ffffff. Create a gradient with these colors, angle 51, repeats 3, linear. Floodfill the new layer with this gradient. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move your tube inside your middle frame. With your magic wand tool, click inside the middle frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. On your tube layer, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Repeat for the other two frames.

Merge your tube layers together. Duplicate, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 60. On the original tubes layer, set the blend mode to luminance (L), opacity 60.

On the frame layer, manual color correction. Set the source to #ffffff and your target to #000000.

Open as27. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over the upper right corner of the middle frame. Duplicate and place this one over the lower left corner of the middle frame. Merge down.

Open as50. Resize by 45%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the lower right corner of your tag.

Open your tube again. Resize if necessary. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to your liking. Duplicate, gaussian blur with the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to screen. On the original layer, hue and saturation, colorize to 0, 0.

Open as79. Resize by 65%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of your tube.

Open as64. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the upper left corner. With your raster deform tool, rotate slightly to the left. See my tag for reference.

Open as83. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower left corner.

Open as17. Resize by 40%. Place to the left side of the briefcase.

Open as78. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the upper right corner of frame 3.

Open as26. Resize by 40%. Rotate left 80 degrees.

Open as60. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place on the lower left side of the card & key. With your raster deform tool turn slightly to the left. 

Ope as85. Resize by 50%, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of your tag. 

Open as01. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the lower right of your tube.

Add your name, copyright, and license info. Add a drop shadow of choice. Merge visible and save as a PNG.
