This tutorial was written by me on August 26th, 2012 and is my own creation. 

Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the work of Jessica Doughterty. I bought this tube when she was with CILM. You can purchase her tubes here. 

PTU Trick or Treat kit by Sandy's Design. You can purchase it here. 

Font of choice. I am using Soul Reaver.

Open a blank canvas, 600 x 250.

Open paper15. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open border2. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move slightly up.

Open tombstone1. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the right side.

Open ribbon1. Resize by 59%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top, slightly to the right. See my tag for reference.

Open witch hat1. Resize by 40%, Mirror. Move to the bottom left of the tombstone.

Open fullmoon1. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left corner.

Open cauldron1. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move down and slightly to the right.

Open witch's broom2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right of the tombstone.

Open candy licious3. Resize by 35%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom and slightly to the left. 

Open candy licious1. Resize by 35%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom right of your witches hat.

Open candy licious2. Resize by 35%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left side. Arrange any candies so they appear peaking out from behind your tube. See my tag for reference.

Duplicate your tube, gaussian blur 3.00. Set the blend mode to overlay and colorize the original tube to 0, 0. 

Now for the frame. Save the following image:

Open this image and minimize. In your materials palette, set your foreground to the pattern you just saved, angle 45, scale 100.

Back to your tag. Select all, modify, contract by 3. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your pattern. Do not deselect.

Selections, modify, expand by 2. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with white. Deselect. Move this layer below the pattern frame layer. 

On the pattern frame layer, add noise, gaussian, 100, monochrome checked. Merge the two frame layers together.

Add your name, copyrights, and license info.

Apply a drop shadow of choice. 

Merge visible and save as a PNG.
