This tutorial was written by me on August 23rd, 2012 and is my own creation. 

Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice (one that has a closeup works best). I am using the work of Elias Chatzoudis. You must purchase his work and obtain the proper licensing. You may do so here. 

PTU kit Steampunk Emo by Inzpired Creationz. You can purchase it here. 

Template 222 by Denz Designz. You can download it here. 

Texture 15 by VixPSP. You can download it here. 

Mask 206 by Gems Taggin' Scraps. You can download it here. 

Font of choice. I am using LHF Stanford Script.

Open your template and mask. Minimize your mask.

On your template, delete the following layers: DD - delete, dotted circle outline, both small circle outlines, background pattern, and raster 1.

Resize all layers by 92%.

Set your foreground to #ea66a2 and your background to #ffffff. Create a gradient with these two colors, angle 0, repeats 5, style radial. Add a new raster layer and move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Open Stars 2. Resize by 90%. Copy and paste as a new layer above the mask layer.

On the 2 x circles layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the strip 2 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 12. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the strip 1 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 10. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the blue strip 2, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the blue strip 1 layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the large back 1 layer, manual color correction, source set to #7ca4c5, target set to #000000. Repeat for the small frame back layers. Merge the two small frame back layers, as well as the two small frame layers.

Open your texture, colorize to 0, 0. Copy and paste as a new layer above your large back 1 layer. On the large frame layer, use your magic wand and click inside the frame. Selections, modify, expand by 5. On the texture layer, selections invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect. Repeat for the small merged frame back layer.

On the large texture layer, open your full-size tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the left side of this layer. Duplicate and place to the right side. Merge down. With your magic wand, click inside the frame again. Modify, expand by 5. On the merged tubes, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect. 

Duplicate, gaussian blur 3.00, set the blend mode to screen, 50. On the original set the blend mode to luminance (L), 50.

Using your closeup tube, repeat the above, placing a single closeup in each of the small frames.

Open Lolli 2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move this layer to the top. Place in the lower right corner. Using your raster deform tool, rotate slightly to the left.

Open Lolli 3. Repeat the above for the lolli, except rotate slightly to the right. Place slightly to the right of lolli 2. See my tag for reference.

Open Cupcake 3. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of the lolli's.

Open Ribbon 1. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left of your tag.

Open Butterfly 1. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the upper left side of your tag. With your raster deform tool, rotate slightly to the left. 

Open Bow 1. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the top right corner of the large frame. Duplicate and place on the top left corner of the small bottom frame. See my tag for reference.

Open Heart 3. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place  just on the right tip of the butterfly. See my tag for reference.

Open Stars 3. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left.

On the wordart back 2 layer, manual color correction. Set the target to #000000. On the wordart layer, set the target to #99175f. Now merge all the wordart layers together.

Copy and paste your full-size tube again. 

Open Lips 3. Resize by 25%, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in the upper right corner, slightly in. See my tag for reference.

Open the cat. Resize by 50%, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the left of the wordart.

Open Emo Bear 2. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right of your wordart.

Open Sparkles 1. Resize by 87%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Duplicate.

Add your name and a drop shadow of choice.

Add your copyright, license info, and merge visible. Save as a PNG.
