Kitty Cutie

This tutorial was written by me on January 15th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using a tube by PTU artist, Fumiko Barrows. You may buy her tubes at Dreamscape Imaging. You may not use her work without the proper licensing.

PTU kit The Cutie by Purple's Kits. You may purchase this kit here.

Mask is VixMask365 by VixPSP. You can download this mask from her blog here.

I used a ftu font called Pussycat. You can find this font at dafont.com.

Ok lets get started!

Open frame PK-TC-F5. Resize all layers by 85%. Image, canvas size and set to 600 x 650.

With your freehand selection tool, draw out a border using the inside of the frames as a basis.

Open paper PK-TC-P11. Copy and paste as a new layer on your frame/working canvas. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and drag below you frame layer.

Adjust, hue & saturation, colorize 0,0.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer. Arrange your tube to your liking in one of the frames. Duplicate and mirror. Merge these 2 layers together.

On your paper layer, selections, select all, float, defloat. Select your merged tube layer and invert selection. Press delete on your keyboard and deselect.

Set the blend mode for your merged tubes to overlay.

Copy and paste your tube again. Move to the center.

Open element PK-TC-SPARKLE. Copy & paste as a new layer. Move towards the bottom of the frame. Move this layer below your frame layer.

Open element PK-TC-RICRACRIBBON2. Resize by 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer, above your centered tube layer.

Open mask Vix_Mask365 and minimize.

Open paper PK-TC-P22. Copy & paste as a new layer and move this layer to the bottom. Apply your mask and merge group.

With your raster deform tool, drag each side of the mask to the sides of the canvas.

Add your name, copyright, and license info.

Save as a .png and we're done!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
