This tutorial was written by me on July 14th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the stunning work of Elias Chatzoudis, a PTU artist. You must purchase his work and obtain the proper licensing to use his work. You may do so here.

Template 202 by Denz Designz. You can find it here.

Mask 362 by Weescottslass Creations. You can find it here.

Filters:

Penta.com Color Dot

Font of choice.

Ok lets get started.

Open your template & mask. Minimize your mask.

On your template delete the following layers: Credits layers, shopping wordart, wordart, wordart back, pink small circles, small circles, & background layer.

Set the canvas size to 700 x 650. Resize all layers by 86%.

Open paper 5. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to bottom. Apply your mask, merge group.

Open the hearts element. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the right side of your canvas. Duplicate, mirror. Merge these two layers together.

On the black ovals layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the bright pink shapes layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open the City Scene element. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to your liking.

On the light pink rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with #7e3a65.

Penta.com Color Dot. Change the value to 155, and the distance to 10.

On the black rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open paper 4. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open your tube. Resize to your liking. Over the layer you just added (paper 4), arrange several copies of your tubes, placing them to your liking. See my example below.



When you are satisfied, Merge your tube layers together. On the paper 4 layer, select all, float, defloat. On the merged tubes layer, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect.

Duplicate the tubes layer, gaussian blur of 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 60. On the original tubes layer, set the opacity to 28.

Merge pink shape 1 and pink shape 2 together. Select all, float, defloat. Create a gradient using #7e3a65 and #ffffff, angle 45, repeats 1, style linear. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your  gradient. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Copy and paste your tube again. Move over the right gradient square to your liking. Duplicate and mirror. Move over the left gradient square. Merge these two layers together. Select the gradient layer again, select all, float, defloat. On the tubes layer, selections, invert and press delete on your keyboard.

Duplicate the tubes layer, gaussian blur with the same settings as before. Set the blend mode to screen.

Open the sand element. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place towards the bottom of your tag.

Open ribbon 2. Resize by 95%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom of your tag. See my tag for reference.

Open the lightbulb string. Resize by 75%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the top of the penta.com layer.

Open your tube once again. Copy and paste as a new layer. Resize if necessary.

Open lolli 2. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom right of your tag. Rotate slightly to the left.

Open lolli 3. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer over lolli 2. Rotate slightly to the right.

Open flamingo 1. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left of your tag.

Open cupcake 2. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place in front of the flamingo. See my tag for reference.

Open cocktail 2. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over your lolli's, but slightly down. See my tag for reference.

Open sunglasses 1. Resize by 40%, mirror. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place slightly to the right of your cupcake.

Open sparkles 1. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Add your name.

Apply drop shadows if desired to your tag.

Add your copyrights & license info.

Merge visible and save as a PNG.
