This tutorial was written by me on June 11th, 2012 and is my own creation. Any resemblance to any other tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

PSP Version used: PSP9, but should work in other versions.

This tutorial assumes you have a good working knowledge of PSP.

Supplies:

Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful work of Jamie Kidd, a PTU artist with Creative Design Outlet. Please do not use his work without the proper licensing.

Template CMTemp3-kk-12 by Kandi Kissez for Creative Misfits Creations. You can find it on their blog here.

Mask is WSL Mask81 by Weescotslass Creations. On the right hand side you will see the links for her masks. Just click on the WSL_Masks061-120 set to download the whole set. You can find them here. 

Font of choice. I am using LHF Stanford Script.

Ok lets get started.

Open your template and mask. Minimize your mask.

On your template, Delete the following layers: credits, stripes.

Resize all layers by 86%.

Select the background layer. In your color palette, set the foreground to #fee892 and your background to #0e9dba. Set the foreground to gradient, angle 130, repeats 1. 

Add a new raster layer and floodfill with your gradient. Apply mask, merge group.

Open the Crushes Coral and shells element. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer above your masked gradient layer. Move to the bottom right of your tag. Duplicate, flip. Move to the upper left of your tag. See my tag for reference. Merge these two layers together.

On the top right pink rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 7. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, Invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer. Repeat for the bottom left black rectangle and the black rectangle layers.

Open Palm Tree 2. Copy and paste as a new layer just above the upper right square. Move this so the top of the tree is just above the top of the template. See my tag for reference. 

With your eraser tool, delete any part of the tree that shows below the template.

On the pink rectangle stripes layer, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 1. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, Invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

On the blue rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 6. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, Invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect and delete the original layer.

Open element Ribbon 2. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer.

On the frame backs layer, select all, float, defloat. Open Paper 3. Copy and paste as a new layer. Selections, Invert and press delete on your keyboard.

Open your tube or a closeup tube. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer into the right hand frame back. Duplicate and mirror. Move the duplicate to your liking in the left hand frame back. Merge these 2 layers together. 

On the frame back paper layer, select all, float, defloat. On the tube layer, Selections, Invert and press delete on your keyboard. Deselect. 

Duplicate the tube layer, adjust, blur, gaussian blur, 3.00. Set the blend mode to screen, opacity 70. On the original tube layer, set the blend mode to luminance (L), opacity 70.

On the white frame layer, select all, float, defloat. Add a new raster layer and floodfill with the same gradient as before. Deselect and delete the original frame layer.

Add noise, uniform, 75, monochrome checked.

Open the Bikini element. Resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the right side of your canvas. Use your raster deform tool and turn it slightly to the right. See my tag for reference.

Open element Flower 1. Resize by 30%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom right of your template. Duplicate and move to the top left corner of your template. See my tag for placement.

Open your tube. Copy and paste as a new layer.

Open Sparkles 1. Resize by 80%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move towards the bottom.

Open the Chair 1 element. Image mirror and resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place to the bottom left of your tag.

Open the Boat 1 element. Resize by 50%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Place over her right leg.

Open the Cup of Shells element. Mirror and resize by 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and place to the bottom left.

Open the Sunblock element. Resize by 40%. Copy and paste as a new layer. Move to the bottom left, slightly to the left of the cup of shells element.

Merge the wordart layers together. Select all, float, defloat. Modify, expand by 2. Add a new raster layer, floodfill with white and move this layer below the wordart layer. Merge these two layers together.

Add drop shadows of choice to any layers of your choosing. 

Add your name, copyrights, and license info. 

Merge visible and save as a PNG.
